Parenting and how it can affect depression and anxiety

Parenting is one of the most difficult job in the world but yet, we do not get much training and preparation for it.  In most jobs, we get some education, an induction and orientation program, and probably some one on one training with a manual as a reference.  Yet, in parenting, we do not generally get any of these.  Hence, it is not so surprising that Parenting is a common source of stress and has a significant contributing factor to depression, anxiety and post natal depression.

See your Doctor for assistance and ask for a referral to a reputable parenting program like PPP (Positive Parenting Program) perhaps.
